Horizon Gold Card is a $500 unsecured credit that can be used to purchase products from The Horizon Outlet. Horizon Gold Card is neither a VisaCard nor a MasterCard. It does not hold a physical cash value. The $500 are only usable via Horizon's outlet shop online. The biggest benefits of the Horizon Gold Card include monthly reports to Trans Union, Road Side Assistance, Pre-paid legal network, Equifax® Credit Watch Gold, and the Universal Prescription Plan.
Horizon Gold has had some negative feedback from users. They applied for the Horizon Gold Card thinking they were getting a Visa or MasterCard. As a result the Terms of Service have been placed at the top of their website for all to see and read.
